A modern floor lamp with a gold stand and a large black drum shade for a soft, refined glow with extra presence.

The UMBERTO floor lamp pairs a slim gold stand with a generous black drum shade. The large shade diffuses light into a soft, even glow, while the black-and-gold pairing gives the lamp a confident, upscale look.

It works as both a reading light beside a chair or sofa and an ambient source that adds height and drama to a corner. The fabric shade keeps the light comfortable and glare-free.

The black-and-gold palette feels refined and a little bold, suiting modern, contemporary, and glam interiors. It pairs well with both dark and neutral furnishings, adding a touch of luxury to the room.

Designers reach for a floor lamp like UMBERTO when a corner needs soft, warm light plus a strong, elegant accent with real presence.

Frequently Asked Questions

What bulb does it take, and is it included?

One E26 bulb, not included. Max 15W LED — but that's the LED wattage, not the light output. A 15W LED is equivalent to roughly a 100W incandescent bulb. For a warm, cozy living room feel go 2700K. The fabric shade will diffuse and soften whatever bulb you use.

What are the exact dimensions?

27.56 × 27.56 × 62.99 inches tall (700 × 700 × 1600 mm). At just under 63 inches, it's a standard floor lamp height that works beside most sofas and armchairs.

Does it need to be plugged in or hardwired?

It's a floor lamp — plug-in, no hardwiring or electrician needed. Just plug it in and position it where you need it.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, with a dimmable smart bulb or an in-line dimmer on the cord. No integrated dimmer built into the lamp itself.

Is it stable? Will it tip easily?

The base is weighted steel, so it sits firmly on the floor. Like any tall floor lamp, avoid placing it in high-traffic areas where it could be knocked. It's not designed for homes with very young children or pets that tend to pull at cords.

Is it approved for Canadian electrical code?

Yes. UL listed for both the USA and Canada (cUL).

Does it require assembly?

Yes, minor assembly required — typically attaching the shade and the stand sections together. No tools needed. Usually takes under 10 minutes.

How fast does it ship?

Ships from our Mississauga warehouse. 1 to 3 business days to Eastern Canada, 4 to 6 to Western Canada. Free shipping over $149.

What is the warranty?

2 years from date of purchase.

What if it doesn't work in the space?

30-day returns on uninstalled fixtures. Send it back within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging, uninstalled and unmodified.
